Barbara Scharrer has more than 15 years of professional experience advising German-speaking clients in the Asia-Pacific region on strategic and legal issues related to the development and expansion of production, purchase and sales, investment and corporate laws, relocation of research and development, HR-management, cross-border transfer of employees and local employment regulations, M&A, IP-protection, restructuring and corporate compliance.
Barbara also advises Asian enterprises with regard to their outbound-investments in Europe. She has long-standing experience as managing director, supervisor and advisory board member and performs her own entrepreneurial activities through ownership of shares in various enterprises in Asia.
Barbara serves as an assistant professor at the University of Würzburg as well as at Erding's University of Applied Management where she gives lectures on strategies for internationalisation and corporate management in Asia.
